I just think that (if you have) to joke about this you need to do something a lot, lot better than point out an irony (which doesn't exist because they were deliberately named so) in the children's names.
This is the critique thread....the idea is for us to critique work. If he wrote it knewing they were dead - its a nasty joke. If he wrote it before they were dead but knowing the op was underway its a crap joke as it will be old before we get a chance to comment.
Either way...it sucks.
The only place for this would be a "jokes" thread where people could post stuff just for kicks and not for actual critique....which is a much needed forum as people who want feed back miss out in this forum because so many people post up stuff they have no interest in hearing opinion on.
