Have you had magellan? You will never go back to sub standard gin again.
Hmm..... not bad, there's an odd cucumber based one that's ok.
But Plymouth is the best.

Yes and like Blavod (the nasty black vodka), it's a cheap low grade spirit full of additives.
I bet you don't even use Schweppes tonic water or Angostoura bitters.

I will certainly give it a go. Have you tried Bombay Sapphire however.
I am put off girly Gins having sampled Hendricks and the like. There is a strong Gin I like and when I remember it's name I shall enlighten you.

Try Fever Tree tonics SootyJ - they are top notch! Pricey but great.

OOOOOOOOOO I like bitters in champagne. I do use a dash of tonic and a fresh lime with my gin.

Tanqueray No 10 is the fellow!
Again not cheap, but as a treat it's a goodie.
I will see if I can get Plymouth and try it.
Tanqueray no10?
Expensive tastes, but it's a good gin.

That's nothing, I have a bottle of this sitting by my desk!
Unopened mind.
I see Magellan in most shops I have been to, is higher priced over Bombay & Tanqueray. Is it in the UK?

I haven't seen it in the stores, but we are a discerning race.
Quote: David Bussell @ December 3 2008, 11:25 AM GMTWhen I asked the man who bought it if he wanted to take it on a test drive he simply said, "Will it get me home in time for my son, Luke's, birthday?"
Given that his son's birthday was the next day and he lived twenty miles away I could give him no such guarantee.

Discerning Race?
