Everybody loves the record ... you hate it Page 6

Lots of Hendrix "live" recordings.

Woefully out of tune guitar and just downright painful in many cases.

However loved some of the studio stuff like "All along the Watchtower, Hey Joe & Cross town traffic".

*Runs and hides from expected backlash at dissing leg-end*

They are rather special ...

When someone mentions her, you think of her boobies. And I think of her hair.

I'm not sure which one of us that says more about. :/

I've seen the White Stripes live several times, but I still had to Google her to see if she looked like she had Down's. That's when I was reminded of her boobs.

Her hair is quite special, however.

The Clash - London Calling. Aside from a few good songs, I've always felt a bit nonplussed by it.

As a great punk fan I never found any Clash records any good. They just seemed so empty and badly produced. Live though they are a different matter.

OK - well obviously you like well produced stuff and not the feel of live music.

:O That's one of my favourite albums of all time.

You should've been there!

I saw them. Once.

Me too - but I think it was 1979.

I saw them in the early eighties. Great show - right up there with the early Ramones shows I saw.

Interesting thread! Personally, I can't abide "I'm not in love" by 10cc.

It's pure slush.

:O That's one of my favourite albums of all time.

I do like Spanish Bombs a lot, though.

Songs from Saturday Night Fever/Grease/and anything sang by the Bee Gees. Not a great disco fan as you'll gather. Nor of falsetto girly voices either.

"Great! ... Didn't they?"
