Belatedly, thank you to Ellie and Aaron for the organising. Great to see everyone (again in some cases).

Dave and Gav, I too will cherish my Newmans card. :)

:D:D No prob good to see you too

I'm sure you only turned up because you knew I was leaving :D

Not true! Third time lucky, eh? :)

Honest Chapper, you do think I am a fool! Pleased

Yes!

Quote: Graham Bandage @ November 30 2008, 11:19 PM GMT

Ah, Gav. Gavy, Gavy, Gav. What a pleasure to meet you. Your Chewbacca impression far outstrips my own feeble attempts.

I should have done my Shaggy and Scooby Doo.

:D Why thank you I do enjoy a good Wookie roar.

It's all a bit hazy but didn't we get married on Saturday Bandage in an Elvis wedding chapel?

Shit! That was you?

I'm sure you only turned up because you knew I was leaving :D

No no, it's because they knew that I was.

No no, it's because they knew that I was.

Yeah I know we agreed to stage our leaving so it wasn't obvious, but I just couldn't wait to be together ;)

Oh Danny, you were magnificent.

He's a catch, girls. And not of the bubonic variety.

Unlike some of us :( ....... :D

Glad you had a good one. Just to put a small damper on things, Anchor Bankside terrace gets so packed in summer you'll be lucky to get 3 or 4 seats, let alone 30 plus...

...so if the staff do agree to reserve the whole terrace for you I will personally foot the entire drinks bill

Photos? Photos?

Yes, well, I enjoyed it. Even if I'm the ONLY person Ellie forgot to mention.

Bloody typical.

I am a failure to journlism kind. Many apologies. You were of course being left for last cause you were the most important person.

I also throw up not long after writing it, so I wasn't very well! :(

I've edited it for you.

Hello everyone,

Well I would really like to take this opportunity to say thanks to everyone who came last night in making it a brilliant night.

Here's a bit of a low down on the night:

I arrived at 3.30pm where the pub (which was very nice) chucked a bunch of "norms" off their tables to make room for me, Ben and Chapman to sit down. We had a civilised chat and recieved our "prewritten" The Newmans Christmas cards from Chapman. Was very nice. Zooo and Aaron arrived next and took their place on the Geekdom throwns (or very nice chairs). Me and Ben decided to open wine then, so the order in which people arrive is slightly (very) wrong. Gav arrived, which was nice as up until Friday he wasn't going to come. Loved the T-shirt Gav. Danny came in (always a pleasure) and we started to really make numbers up. One of my highlights was meeting Roscoff. He is an amazing man and was so good to meet my online hubby! Mark snuck in and talked a lot of comedy. BillWill arrived, and can I say what a lovely gentleman and HAPPY BIRTHDAY (we did sing yes). An unfamiliar face of Godot Taxis turned up and he's a lovely guy too. Sootyj arrived making mental notes on the excellent bit of comedy banter that was flowing. hehe. Bearing in mind we're all still recieving Newman Christmas cards at this point for some reason signed "Shave and Gay". At about 6.15pm I decided I was hungry so told everyone we were going to eat so we all got fish and chips from the conveniently place Fish and Chip shop which is built within the pub. Badge arrived wearing a badge. Simon Stratton and Finck arrived... what a pair of hotties they are. Then Bussel and his hair arrived in style and things were really kicking off to be an awesome night. Rob0 came and so did Nil and Julia. We all abandoned our chairs and took to "hanging around" in strange assortments of groups of people until we got chucked out at midnight. Of course Graham Bandage made a legendary appearence. What a great bloke!!!

Anyway, I am so glad it was such a good night. Thanks! :)

Bandage is a very funny man. I imagined him to be porkier and older than he was, so I was pleasantly surprised to find him to be an agile chap.

That's better.

Agile?

Quote: Graham Bandage @ December 1 2008, 9:53 AM GMT

Agile?

Yep. I like the way you move.

I imagined him to be porkier

Also.

And he was just about as understandable as I expected. ;)

Photos? Photos?

I did take a couple of group shots... but people are so funny about photos being posted I'm not sure I should.
