BSG Christmas Do Page 70

Hello!

I had great fun last night. Nice to meet the new people and to see the old ones again. My night was very nearly soured when I lost my wallet, but luckily it had been handed in to the bar staff.

Well done to Ellie for organising it all. And to Aaron for choosing a great venue.

Thanks to Ellie and co for organising it. It was great to meet everyone (some more briefly than others), and as expected they were all jolly good people.

I have sealed my Newmans Christmas card in a polythene bag to retain its pristine condition for later auction.

I am also looking forward to seeing Ellie and Roscoff's upcoming sitcom "Couch Potatoes", though by the sounds of it it won't take much writing - just a live feed from Ellie's flat.

Laughing out loud I didn't realise my life was so funny until last night.

Only just back now? Blimey! Took a while!

I left just after 11:30, but it took me till around 00:50 to get home, even though I decided to take the tube to Archway from London Bridge, instead of riding the 43 all the way.

Brrrr the wind was f**k*ing cold at the bus-stop at Archway.

Anyway it was a GREEEAT evening and a nice way to spend my birthday, so thanks all.

Wave See y'all again at the next one. Wave

Ah and this morning I've discovered I won a tenner in the Lottery yesterday too.

Oh and Simon says (...) a special thank you to Roscoff and Chapman, who apparently bought aaaallll the drinks. :) *applauds*

I'm afraid I can't claim that - not all day anyway.

Cracking night, although it finished in the classic English way - bar shutting at 11.30 and the last half hour spent standing in a corner while the staff glared at us. Also everyone f**ked off when I went to the bog so I wasn't able to say goodbye.

We thought you'd never go.

Great to meet people who left before I arrived last time - Zoo, EllieJP - who looks exactly like her avatar and was a great hostess,

What a surprise!

I think when I left there were about 100 cards left on the table!

I have mine!

Damn, I thought it was tonight >_< Guess I'll be drinking alone...

As usual.........

In his underpants. Having a sad wank.

Tear in his eye...

A sad wank? Is that why it cries at the end?

That is one of the symptoms.

He will probably get barred for that.

Great to meet those that were still there when I arrived. Nice to put names to faces. Thanks to Ellie & Aaron for organising it all, I 'll see you all next time (hopefully). :D

I picked them up. Simon Stratton has them now. He's gonna get them to you or Gav.

:)

What would people think about making The Anchor 'the' BSG venue? Seems that everyone liked it, and we know we're safe there in regards to space and whatnot, nice surroundings generally, and of course that large roof terrace thingy if we hold a meet in warmer weather. And, crucially, it didn't turn into some kind of semi-club at 10pm (>_<;).

Sounds good to me.
