I am unsure of what "paid off" means?
2001 Hyundai Elantra. It's served me well for the last 8 year, but it's time to look for a replacement. I hate to take on a monthly payment in this economy, but I've been looking at something equally small/efficient. Another Elantra, Toyota Yaris, Honda Fit/Civic ...

Yes, but I live in England, sir, where the public transport is plentiful and superb. If I lived in the desert of the USA, then, yes, I would probably have to swallow it and drive. So there.
