I loved Angel Innocent, but now I use Lolita Lempicka because my mum decided to use the former. Unimpressed

Lolita Lempicka! I used to use that before I discover my B perfumes! I still love it.

With my smellies, I have the old fashion pump bottle! Ooo la la!

Ruby - I'm at a total loss as to what smellies to buy my missus this Chrimbo. You seem like a pretty cool chick who doesn't smell like an incontinent baglady. I need advice! Don't leave it to me or she'll get Tweed By Lentheric.

Again. Errr

Have you tried "Old lady piss" by the crazy woman who sits outside Argos?

Tweed! My mum wears Tweed! Well there is two tricks to smellies.

1) Avoid the cheap day scent shelf in Boots.
2) Be aware whats he likes - Floral, musky, sweet, fruity, etc.

I asked for a Love perfume gift box this year. It comes with body spray, plus soap, a bath bomb, and body lotion in a gift box you can store bits in. They also make them in Keep it fluffy and Two hearts which have different things. That's from B never too busy to be beautiful. As a guide, Keep it fluffy is very sweet and vanilla baby powder like, Love is Apple and lemony, and Two hearts is very floral.

Also just look at what the ladies on here use themselves. You can't go wrong. :)

Are bath bombs like depth charges?

This is the most girly girl thread ever and anyone who has taken part in it is a girl and shall be known as a girl from this day forward and lead us not into temptation I name this child Derek.

I like random berries shoved up my jacksie and fermented until they really sting. Then I bottle it and sell it as Chanel No.5.

Surely 'smellies' are the most clichéd, unthoughtful, and generally dull present anyone could receive?

I take it she's not under 21 (if she is - well done!) so I'd recommend Flower Bomb by Viktor & Rolf. It's the only perfume I wear that everyone likes. It's a really sophisticated and pleasant rose scent. It's also beautifully packaged and reassuringly expensive (about £70). It's also not that common.

(apologies - I slipped back into fashion journalist spiel mode then).

Depends on the receiver. A nice expensive perfum isn't something a lot of women would ever buy for themselves, so it can be a nice treat if adequate thought has been put into it.

Depends on the quality. If you are talking lavender bath cubes and a royal jelly shower set from boots then yes.

OOOOOOOO I love this one from Victoria's Secret. "Appletini"

You can buy it online.

I have always been complimented when I wear it. By men and woman. If nothing else you can tour the Victoria's Secret models.

Here is a review. http://beautifile.blogspot.com/2008/03/review-victorias-secret-appletini-body.html
