Oh the irony.

?

Well, there's a lovely new version of Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth, with Terry Wogan playing Bing Crosby and Aled Jones playing David Bowie.

I suggest you all have a listen to it, in a vain attempt to reedem yourselves.
Go on, do it now.

The Pogues/Kirtsy MaColl. Easily the best Xmas song, someone had to say it.

Sick

No Griff, it's excellent. You love it. don't you.

Possibly, but unfortunately it's been played to unsufferableness.

second thread I have been on today and it's another reference to Aaron liking cock... Or suggesting he likes cock, what's going on...

Ha! Where was the other one?

Phil Spectors Christmas Album is very good.

I also like christmas carols and I love singing them. My favs are belting out Come All You Faithful, In the Bleak Midwinter and Silent Night - especially in German.

Noél for me, partially because of The Box Of Delights theme tune that partly used it. :)

Silent Night - in German.

Surely an impossibility? It's the only language that makes violent vomiting sound like sweet nothings ... that and Japanese.

It has to be 'War is Over' or Pogues or 'December will be Magic' for me. And XTC's secret christmas single is so damn catchy too.

I think because when I was taught it I was also told the story about the British and German soldiers holding a Christmas ceasefire during WW1. Maybe it reminds me of that?

Oo, yes, a lovely incident in a nightmare time. But they must have sung it in English as no Brit ever learns a foreign language?
:P :)

And that one by Shaky. And don't forget the Quo have got a Xmas single out this year. Nice!

Evidently the X Factor single is a Leonard Cohen song. Bet it's not 'Bird on A Wire'.

I always liked this song:
