If after a couple of years it's still not worked out, it could be that you're just rubbish. Do notbe down hearted, this does not rule you out of a career in television comedy.

That's true. Look at Tittybangbang for proof of this.

A fella in the know told me that once you've had a hit up on screen you have a five year window to be as crap as you like. This may explain many things.

Haven't heard that one before Ablurga, made me laugh!

Odd, it made me weep.
:D

Well, I'm bouyed up by the news I had from an old school friend. One of his mates has had a meeting with a top producer in England who's "taken him under his wing", and will enjoy a day on a production set and a day's coaching with a scriptwriter.

His qualifications for this honour? Well, he has yet to write his first script so it isn't talent but his father does happen to be mates with the producer's father and when he said he was interested in maybe writing for TV, his father picked up the phone. Hmm!

Despite the knocks and the kicks, I will plough on, smiling, being affable, sending scripts, staring at my bare walls seeking the next line, preparing for the next big project, trying to remember that one day I may get the chance that I'll lose if I surrender now. I will continue writing because I am driven to it.

Did that sound convincing?
:)
