I think we're going more along science/nerdy lines in terms of 'geek' definition, whilst zooo's thinking more general 'obsessive'. Something like that.

That's exactly why I got confused! I had one type of geek in mind. My bad though.

I think this is another thread where we're all going to disagree over what geek means...

No there's no disagreement, I just didn't think.

Ahh ok. Well we'll just have to each go with our own definitions. :)

I would say Arnold J Rimmer was a geek.

Haha, you didn't realise it was Pegg? :D

No because I was looking for some other 'science geeky' character. And I forgot he was called Tim. I remember Brian and Mike. I've forgotten Jessica Stephenson's character's name as well!

Daisy!

She can go on the list tooo!

I would say Arnold J Rimmer was a geek.

Because he was unpopular?

I'm not sure... unpopular yes. And I hate to say obsessive again but I just have. And neurotic.

(And maybe Mr Brittas as well.)

Ok he can go on.

And also Aaron, for putting the full name of all the shows and then italisising them! :D

Oh bless.
I thought that was you!

(And maybe Mr Brittas as well.)

I can see that! Probably more than Rimmer.

LOL! Waaay too much effort for me.

Nooo, Gordon's not a geek. Just ... challenged. Some geek like tendencies in regards to social interaction and whatnot, but not a geek I wouldn't have thought!

And not just italicising, but doing so with the very special code.

*shakes head at self*

Yay!

See... would Gareth in The Office be a geek?
He certainly looks like one, but doesn't know much about anything...

Except maybe the territorial army.

So what is he then? I need a label for him!

No, he's just a cock.

Obnoxious! :D

Ahhh!
That'll do me.

Bugger I put him in now :(

:D
What is that anyway? It just looks the same as [i].

Ok, I'll take Brittas off then.

For now it just italicises. Once the BCG's fully launched, it'll link to the show's page. (Doing it for ANY film or TV show though, not just British comedy ones. Future-proof and that, just in case.)

Same with around someone's name. And [y] for a year. :)

*taps noggin* We've put a lot of thought into this 'ere new site.
