No, it's a normal tortoise. I used to catch them all the time when I was growing up in Florida. They're endangered, they grow very large and they like to pee on you if you pick them up.

My cat did craaaaazy jumping and spinning in the air tonight, all due to an elastic band on the floor. :S

Did you wind her up with it?

No...I pinged it onto the floor...

I'm tempted to go and ping a rubber band now.

She just kept creeping up on it from different angles to try to catch it off guard, or something.

Do they sell plastic milk cartons there with the tear-off plastic strip on the cap? Every cat I've ever had goes crazy for those things.

Yes. Neither of my cats have ever done that as far as I know though!
