How many of you have full time/part time jobs? Page 3

Your a Personal Assisstant?

Like Working Girl? How cool is that.

I spend 2/3 full days a week working my admin job, for the rest of the week I write. Make sure I'm up by 8.30 and writing by 9.30. Usually go for a run about 4.00 then write until 6.00. Sometimes after my run though, I just end up either looking at porn or playing fifa.

Are you all declaring this extra income?

I let a couple of properties so have to do tax returns anyway.

Can I recommend Waitrose for really good chunky fish fingers.

Unfortunately, Waitrose saw sense and moved out of Slough a long time ago...

Full time copywriter.

As said, I've made no money from writing yet so have no need to worry. Once I do start earning I will just avoid tax like the rest of the players out there. That's how me and my tax evading mother f**k**s roll.

I'm tickled by your posts Marc. What do you do for a living ole friend? Aside from this writing hoopla?

Err.............

No, that's about it. Writing malarkey I mean.

:)

Hmm. I wouldn't recommend that. I've just been stung for 13 grand from Mr Revenue because I claimed for a couple of things I shouldn't have. 13 thousand pounds, up in smoke.

Grrrr.

My agents fees are VATable so the tax man knows what I'm getting paid before I do.

As has been pointed out in other threads, the people paying me (NewsRevue, BBC, Treason, 118) will almost certainly be declaring the payments at their end and probably naming me, so I could get caught out very easily if I try to get away with it.

Very true. The taxman knows all.

13 K what were you claiming for?

I don't have the bollocks to avoid tax, it would seriously keep me awake at night.

Do you get taxed as badly in the UK as the land called america?
