Ruby, please please PLEASE for the love of God understand this. EMS DID NOT KNOW WHO HE WAS. When he saw that he is a banned member, he - quite legitimately - wondered why there was a thread about him. People don't get banned randomly. But he still sent good wishes.
It's not being a jerk, or being insensitive. It's a simple, honest question which 90% of people would ask if they were in his position. He could have done so a little more diplomatically, but - well, this is EMS; no he couldn't. 
Anyway, Danny "is back home and everyone is well".
