I think when you have a prime BBC1 spot, sell out tours, and wheel barrows full of royalties appearing at your door, you try and say no.
It's a shame because to begin with it was actually hugely innovative and character based.
Who doesn't love the obsessive customer sketch (the first 6 times).

Best character they ever did, for me.
A truly lovely bit of Pythonesque repetition and chracter comedy.
It's such a shame they never expanded the stuff further.
A second series has been given the go-ahead.

I read that too, can't believe it. It should be cancelled, it was so poor.
I thought the first couple of episodes were o.k. but from then apart from Marjorie Dawes it went downhill.
I never got used to it. I have seen many episodes but it has never grabbed me to want more. If it is on, I watch it.
