Am I the only one who thinks the cold air smells crisper when Christmas is coming?
The Christmas 2008 thread Page 2
No.
Yea there is something kinda magical about the smell of the air this time of the year.
Good! Last year was awesome. We had a wooden german village in town selling chestnuts and gingerbread and hand made gifts and decorations and a ice palace with santa!
Where is that Roobo?

I think you made them up.
They're really super-high frequency. I think it's 'cos of my wrong-wired-ness that I can see the flicker.

The airport rental car shuttle at the Philadelphia airport was playing Christmas carols. It was nice to be in a part of the country where leaves were changing color and falling and the smell of fireplaces was in the air. Not many falling leaves here in Texas, but today I noticed that my lawn was beginning to turn brown, so no more mowing for 4 or 5 months.
My parents, one of my brothers and my kids and their girlfriends and boyfriends are meeting in Las Vegas for Christmas. It'll be a nice change of pace. We've already been discussing a Caribbean cruise for next Christmas.

Dantes' seventh circle. It's nice this time of year!
On Saturday I'm going Christmas shopping with my family, and on the 20-somethingth of December, Andy and I are being taken to the Royal Albert Hall to humour our nan by singing carols with her. For now though, the sunflower seed investigation or biology ensues.
Is that for one of those big carol concerts they have posters for on the Tube?
Yep, think so!
The ice rink's up at Somerset House!

My parents were thinking of going to one this year. And I've been tempted for the past couple. Then they saw the price of the tickets. :/

Yup, watching too! Haven't been to that one though. Only Canary Wharf (opens this Saturday).
