Seeing as this is the critique forum 
I made six episodes of a Podcast sketch show, just wondered if any of you guys could give me any feedback on it? I'm contemplating doing a second series in 2009, so your feedback would be greater than great.

Sounds Pro but sadly didn't really amuse me, infact being honest it didn't make me laugh once

It sounds great and it's packed with energy but it's not really my type of humour. It's all a bit "wacky local radio DJ" you know? Now if you were parodying a wacky local radio DJ it would probably be loads of fun.
Also I think you need to maybe get someone else on board to do it with you because your characters all sound like you.
Pro sound though.

The sad and ironic part is, I actually AM a local DJ! 
Yeah, I would like to get others on board with it, but I only discovered this place in the last few days and a lot of people I know either don't want to do it or are totally clueless and REALLY REALLY wanna do it, you know?
But I appreciate the feedback so far, thanks to everyone who's listened. I made the series a year ago, so I'm hoping all I can do now is get better...I feel good now I've found these forums I'm not aloooone!!! haha

Sorry mate, I didn't mean to sound down on local radio DJs - I used to be on local radio myself for a bit. I think what's happening here is your podcast is coming over as a jumble of not much - it's not really a sketch show or a talk show - it needs a definite identity with clear characters and not quite so much going on. If I were you I'd slow down, give the listener time to absorb what you're saying before launching into your next bit.
And remember it's a podcast not radio - you can get away with anything.
Don't be sorry, it's funny that you managed to peg me! 
Thanks for the advice, I can see exactly what you mean. I would love to give the show another bash, or a different six-part comedy series.

Hi Tom, sorry it didn't do much for me, although I can see Lee's point. My observation is that it could easily be made into a Chris Evans piss take as it's close already, if you actually wrote it with Chris in mind it could be really funny.
Hi, I didn't get very far into Episode 1. Sorry But Episode 6 which is on your profile was brilliant. Some funny sketches, great character acting and some very funny lines.
