What's your favourite chocolate bar? Page 11

Thank you, kind sir.

I buy from them! When we were in London, me, Danny, and Otterfox went into the Covent Garden store. Pleased

I remember when I was in South Africa you could buy a chunky Milky Bar with Smarties in it. That WAS nice.

I like dark choc with about 85% cocoa.

The brand is not too important with that much cocoa in it!

Lindt, Nestle. I'm not fussed.

Me too!

I tried some dark chocolate with 99% cocoa last year. That was difficult to eat.

:D Not surprised. I used to eat hot chocolate mix directly from the tin with a spoon, cut out the middle man so to speak. Try a tin of Charbonnel et Walker, sinful...

...then I tried the same with a packet of cocoa powder. Like swallowing wood shavings

Wow!
There's an idea.

Sometimes reeeeeeally dark chocolate makes me feel funny.

It's the melt factor that's the key, and it only comes with high coco content.

Cocoa poisoning!

Possibly.

So true, so you savour it like sipping wine, a square at a time. No binging!

Yes it should melt on the tongue one square at a time.

It gives me a tummy ache, like coffee does.

(and too many crisps, as learned today.)

Caffeine gives me heart palpitations, so dark chocolate is a blessing with a curse. I ate a bar a few minutes ago and my heart started doing the herky jerky.

Department of Old Thread Revival here again, this time from 15 years ago!

From 1970, anyone remember this choccie bar?
