I've read Linehen say he'd like it to go on for a while, that he thinks it could be a long running series. I hope so, I'm getting fed up with things finishing so quickly now. Lets have four or five series please.

You say that, but I've been holding off buying individual IT Crowd series because I want to wait for the comprensive boxset.
I am shocked that so many people in the forum love this sitcom.
Even the usual fusspots seem to be singing its praises.

Me too. But it seems to be repeated all the time anyway. Do more4 have no other comedies they can show other than Father Ted and The IT Crowd?

'Cos it's brilliant and Linehen is one of THE great television comedy writers.

Don't be. It's a genuinely great show.

Way to bring the mood down!

Just buy them. They're pretty cheap to get. The complete box set couple be years away, and then they'll announce another one within months of its release. (See: Peep Show, Black Books, etc.)
And in any case, the box is likely to be the exact identical discs and contents as the individual releases. If it comes down to it, you can always head to eBay with what you already own.

I didn't think much of it. Then I spent a year working in an office.

A glowing recommendation to me!
I've set my alarm clock, I cannot wait!
