I noticed an opened tin of cat food (lid still half attached) in a fridge in today's episode. I believe the fridge belonged to one of the doctors and I remarked to myself that it wasn't a very hygenic thing for a doctor to do. A nurse, yes but not a doctor. They need to buy one of those plastic covers for their cat food tins, I told myself.
I've spoken to the executive producer on your behalf Dolly and he told me to tell you to mind your own business.

Today I have been mostly been eating one slice of toast and marmalade, and being all alone in the house swigged some milk straight from the carton to wash it down.

The cat was my fave bit!
It was a funny episode with some great lines, well done.
So my prediction WAS right - another cat! I love the way you slip humour into unexpected places and then surprise the viewer at the end. Good show.
