South Park Returns Page 4

Has anyone been watching the second half of season 12? Seems to be a return to form in my opinion.

The two part episode was particularly enjoyable with the attack of the guinea pigs. Some classic Randy Marsh.

This weeks was pretty good as well with the whole US election as a diversion for Obama and McCain to complete a jewel heist.

Deferenz- Although that is classic Cartman moment I think the 'Scot Tenorman must die' episode is his finest half hour.I espeicially love the bit where he's on the way to the 'pube fair' believing he can sell Tenorman's pubes for a million dollars, the way he's laughing on the bus journey 'Whoa ho ho! One million dollars!' kills me.

You've also got the AWESOME-O episode and Casa Bonita as the two other great Cartman based episodes.

Mr Beard-I'm don't think its a full return to form, I think the breast cancer show was close to being classic, other than that the episodes in the latter half of the run have been a bit gimmicky, although still funny. The best South Park Seasons in my opinion are 5 to 9, but even then every season has its classics.

Its kinda weird when you think about the way that the best Simpsons Seasons are 4-9 too.I guess its the natural curve of getting to know you're own characters.

Your right in terms of the whole run of South Park. I just meant it's been a nice few episodes after the disappointing first half of season 12 and a so so season 11.

Good call on Scott Tenorman episode though. I friend put me onto South Park with that very episode. It's such a conflicted laugh at the end!

Glad you liked the breast cancer episode as well. Best one since the world of warcraft episode for me.

I didn't think the first half of this season was too bad. I particularly liked 'Canada on Strike' and 'Overlogging'. The other episodes were a bit mediocre.

I love the Canadians, the level of comedy when there involved is so silly I just love it. My favourite scene in South Park ever is Phillip doing Canadian Shakespeare in the 'Behind the Blow'.

The warcraft episode is one of the best definetly. My personal favourite episode is Timmy 2000-where Timmy plays in a band and opens for Phil Collins at Lololaloozapa. The Christian rock episode is also up there too. There's just too many good ones to choose to be honest.

Over logging was a highlight. 'Going down to californee way'.

My personal favourite episode is 'Free Willzyx.' I have never laughed for so long and so hard as I did at the end of that show. It slayed me.

I am about to start buying the boxsets as I don't own any at the moment. Play.com have them for £13.98 each which doesn't seem like a bad price, thats like £1 an episode which seems like good value to me.

Def.

Mr. Beard are you referring to the moving image of a beached whale groaning on the moon? That is a good episode especially the way those two Sealife Centre workers continue to insist it was funny even as there dying!

I am referring to the very same! Yeah, I love the marine guys. Despite all of the ramifications spawning from simply pretending to be a talking whale they still insist the original prank was funny. Add to that the Cuban space program and the whale lying dead on the moon, I really think it is my favourite episode.

Shame there's only a couple left of this series. I always miss South Park when it's gone.

I just watched the Free Willzyx episode again, its great stuff. My favourite line is when Kyle asks why Willzyx doesn't tell the sealife centre people his problems and Willzyx replies:

'I can't do that there evil communists from the horsehead nebula. They want to kill all us zypods!'

Just watched Wednesday's episode-Elementary School Musical definetley one of the best in this season!

Butters and Randy are my 2 favourite characters.

Genuinely, South Park is genius, on several levels.

The best episode of season 12 for me was Over Logging. The internet simulator, and the bit were Randy sneaks in the hut had me in tears.

I'm lost as to what series I'm watching, but I try to catch it every night on Paramount and MTV.

Randy is awesome.

Elementary School Musical was indeed special. Hopefully this season can go out with a bang with the last episode this week.

I guess you were dissapointed Beard,I honestly think the latest episode was the worst ever possibly just after 'Pip' and 'A Million Little Fibers'.

I realize I sound like comic book guy but that episode was attrocious('The Ungroundable')

I was dissapointed in the end. The whole thing felt a bit flat. I'm not sure if it was the worst episode ever ('Pip' will always hold that prize - like you, I hated that one!) but it certainly was a poor way to end the run.

Still, it's been a good seven episodes overall so I can't complain too much. An improvement on 'eek, a penis' anyway. Roll on March!
