I remember my big brother getting one of them!
It was awesome.

It had a keyboard and everything! I mean, I never used the keyboard, I had a massive black joystick, but there were keys available for pressing. Me and my sister found the Commodore two weeks before Christmas and would get it out to play on whenever my parents went out.
Aww, joysticks...

I am not surprised.

Kempston?
Corrr.

Joystick envy?
I don't play computer games anymore, I might add. Not since I was about fourteen.
Do you still get joysitcks? It's all joypads these days, isn't it?
Quote: Matthew Stott @ November 11 2008, 6:32 PM GMTThe worst present I ever got was when I was about eleven. It was a robot that could sort of (but not really) draw if you stuck a little pencil in its base. It was rubbish.

My mother is the queen of awful gifts. The worst had to be a bumper pack of Pritt Stick. I am even allergic to it. Brillopads .
I have an old spectrum ZX somewhere and a SNES and a Gameboy! I am very keen to get my hands on a game gear.

*snigger*
Sorry, that shouldn't be funny.
One year I got a mat for my loo floor, next Birthday I got the loo seat cover and following Christmas the pedestal mat.
You know my Mum, Loopey?
Sounds like it - perhaps our Mother's are twins who were separated at birth.
Last year was a grey leather credit card holder. I don't like grey, I hate leather and never buy it, and I had one card at the time.
Since I got my boots card.

Oo, Aaron hasn't corrected my punctuation yet - did I get away with it?
When my brother was little he bought us all one bathcube and one tangerine and wrapped them up about a month before Christmas. Lovely. More thoughtful than the bath mats though.
Mmmmm green citrus fruit!
