My mum was a teacher at my school... I had to deal with my mum asking me what "spitroasting" means as two of her 6th form students had said they wanted to do that to her on Friends Reunited. Bless my mum.

Have you considered doing a "Aaron comment barometer"? Basically, you could have a numbered scale of all the types of predictable comments you make to try and belittle people and then you can save wear and tear on the keyboard and just reply "Three".
