I noticed Ed Reardon's Week is back this week. I'm still catching up on earlier series, but hooray anyway. It's great.

It is indeed.

Ed Reardon is my hero. I suspect I'll be just like him when I'm older (if I'm not already!). Anyone reading this that hasn't heard any Ed Reardon yet, boot up the iPlayer - a brilliantly worded sitcom.
Any mention of 'Pleased to Meet you'?
Great show, Dora Dale is a fabulous creation.
Must admit, I now find Never Seen Star Wars quite an agreeable 30 minutes of comedy. Brigstocke is actually quite tolerable when he's in conversational mode. And last nights episode was quite good, especially the bit with Tim Brooke Taylor buying a porn mag.
I'm also enjoying Dick Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, even if I'm not totally sure what's going on a lot of the time.
I've been listening to the first series of Fabulous again, which is very good. Hopefully the standard of the second series (even though it's up to half an hour now) is the same, as it started last week on R4.
chip -- The Long Dark Teatime of the Soul is (in my opinion) Douglas Adams' best book. If you're enjoying the radio show, the book might appeal also.

I've mainly been listening recently to Undone a sci-fi sitcom on BBC Radio 7 partly set in a weird parallel version of London. It is written by and stars Ben Moor. There are currently 4 episodes on the iPlayer.
Just listened to Love Contract, today's Radio 4 play. Great stuff, not exactly laugh out loud funny, but very darkly amusing in a Kafka-esque way. Worth a listen if you're into Radio 4 afternoon plays.
This looks good - Anna (Crilly) and Katy (Wix. They're doing a pilot for a radio show.

I saw Anna in my mate Karen's show - look left - and Katy plays the dopey one in Not Going Out. Anyway I'll give it a go.
I like them both!
Sounds good.
Last night I listened to BBC Radio 7's two new comedy series, A Series of Psychotic Episodes and Gus Murdoch's Sacred Cows. Both shows were originally pilots as part of the station's "Witty and Twisted" competition. Gus Murdoch was a finalist and Psychotic Episodes won. Listening to them last night, it is understandable why they did so well. Brilliant shows.
At risk of being chastised by chip for being distinctly 'uncurrent', I listened to the first episode of Recorded For Training Purposes again this morning (in preparation for submitting to the new series).
It's actually very, very good. Made me laugh out loud on more than one occasion. Better than I remember it being originally.

Where is this available, Dan?
PM-ed you.
Dan
I heard The Party Line last night for the first time . . .
Curate's egg . . good in parts for me !
