But, but... Take That write and play their own stuff, so what on earth would you call them?
They are the very essence of pop!!

I think people like you don't really like music. It's just something you feel you have to go through.

How can you say there's no good new stuff with Killers, Kasabian, Hard-Fi etc.

If you REALLY like music you'll always fibd some good new stuff.

I'm intrigued now as to who "people like you" are! Laughing out loud

But you're possibly partially right. Certainly not something I "have" to go through, but I don't feel the need to love something just because it's a bit different or has challenging lyrics or other such rubbish.

It's not that - I mean that if you love the feel of rock/pop/blues/Jazz whatever you're always going to.

I was lumping you and Leevil together because you both said basically the same thing.

And then there's the Who - although really they're a rock band.

Well I must disagree there. There's such variation in each of those genres that you can't really define them by a "feeling" like that, I don't think. I mean, there are artists - and songs - that I really love. And certain types of music that I'm more hostile towards than others. Doesn't mean that there's always going to be something around. For me personally, most of the mainstream bands active at the moment sound alike (although some notable exceptions have been raised previously). Unfortunately, that sound/style's "feeling", if you will, doesn't appeal to me. It's not that I don't like music. Just that it's all in a phase at the moment which doesn't really excite me. Plus, since TOTP died, there's no way for me to hear the really new stuff...

I think I'm quite different to many people in that I don't live off music. I could count on one hand the number of live gigs I've been to. I'm obsessed with TV though. TV is my thing. Some people have these mp3 phones. Yes, mine does mp3. But it does TV too. And radio. I still listen to music, just nowhere near as much as other people seem to!

I would choose Moosic over TV anyday.

What're you doing on a comedy site then? :P

To be honest, I couldn't live without either. But I'd die much quicker without TV.
