Oh, you quoted before I fixed the l. :(

Such is the privelege of the Gloabl Moderator...

sootyj seems to be putting an 'e' at the end of everyone's name today. Very strange. Second time he's done it.

I couldn't be arsed.

Get over it, DaButt. The best man won. The whole world can see that, as well as the majority of the American people. The fact is, outsiders are happy that America has finally got a proper president instead of a figure of fun. Wave

EMS, you're even more pompous and sanctimonious than I could ever even pretend to be. And that's saying something.

Even if Obama doesn't live up to the expectations, no one is really going to hate him or want to crucify him

I already do. :)

In the UK both the main parties have squeezed their zelaots out into secondary parties.

Labor=Respect, Socialist Labor, BNP
Conservative=UKIP, BNP, Veritas

Where do disenfranchised Libdems go?

Down the pub, I imagine.

He's another cookie cutter bland politico like Clegg, Blair and Cameron.

Nothing wrong with that is there?

Giving Labor 6 short years to found the NHS and the Welfare State.

Hm, yes. One year. And it had been fully planned all through the war period.

Was tickled to read talks between UKIP and BNP broke down.

To the extent that the police had to be called to escort the BNP rep away.

Aparently he thumped some one according to rumor.

But it was Bevin that did it. He's the greatest MP this country ever had.

Even more so than Churchill.

It's all a pretence with you? Are you sure?

Fozzy Bear? He's not even English or human or a very good comic.

I despair of this country I'm moving to Alaska, to join Palin's campaign for cessesition from the US.

Greatest MP? Well, each to their own. He wasn't the worst, I'd agree that far.

The greatest MP this country's ever had, you say?

Oh how I love that photo.

I never said "all".

cessesition

See, I bet Aaron lets that one go without comment.

I don't even know what word it's meant to be.

I'm guessing "secession" but that's operating at the limits of my psychic capacity.

Quite.

My toes are in the Atlantic and the sun is shining on my bare legs. I love Florida in November.

Don't drop your laptop in the sea!

Me too.

Roscoff has just ended the thread.

Brilliant!

iPhone. I'm not a big fan of the beach, but I envy my father's daily routine: an 18-mile bike ride to the beach and along the waterfront. I hope I have that much energy at 72.

And the nuke plant down the road:
