My best friend is the queen of dealing with dodgy men and crap flatmates. She once lived in one of those places where you have to share and bathroom and kitchen and the guy next door would get drunk and bring his mates home at 3am and they would keep everyone up with loud music so, getting the others on board, one night she set up candles in her room and waited til he came home with his mates. When they were all in the room, she snuck out the door with a torch and pulled out the fuse for her room, his room, and the landing, then ran back into her room while they all started up and locked the door. When he banged on doors, everyone just told him there was a powercut!. All his mates had to go home and he had to cope with no electricity all night.
