Quote: Aaron @ November 4 2008, 12:32 PM GMTCarry On Again Doctor. You're thinking of Jim Dale.
He is my favourite Carry On-er.
He's good, but favourite? Hm. Favourite still alive, possibly.
Quote: Timbo @ November 4 2008, 10:30 AM GMTOf course Ross and Brand are neither likeable nor particularly talented, which makes their difficulties rather amusing.
How about Head?
What is with peoples' inability to understand their opinion is not always shared? Or least articulate themselves in a way that hints they may know this. Ross and Brand have a vast number of people that like them and find their talents perfectly acceptable.
I'd cut out my eyes before watching Carry On anything but I wouldn't be so foolish as to suggest it's not funny or the actors lack talent... I just don't like them.
If these were fringe artists at least you'd have majority opinion on your side.....but when Ross is watched by millions you have to accept that others won't agree with you.
Okay then, more amusing to me.
I think the diference between popular and good is how well you defend yourself when you're in trouble.
Hence the goodstuff is pretty robust, League, dare I say Carry On?
They've buried their critics.
But Brand and Ross? When they got in trouble it's Emperor's new clothes time.

Yeah but Bob Monkhouse was in the first one and Doctor Who.
*yawn*
It's too late now you silly cow.
(Not you nil.)
Moo!
Oh it's all a load of bollocks.
I know this sounds awful but I'd rock Baillie.
Agreed, although I wouldn't phone her Grandfather after.

Even after Russell's had a go?
She's probably riddled.
