I don't understand any of those words.

Quinoa is an Aztec grain that has the same protein content as meat. Unusual texture popular with vegans.

Spelt is a very old grain native to the British isles, like a cross between arborio rice and barley. Strong flavor and thickens stuff nicely.

Couscos is a sort of ultra fine pasta made from wheat popular in salads.

Giant Israeli couscos is similar but alot bigger.

Bulgar wheat is a hard grain from central Europe, often mixed in oily salads, quite chewy.

Let's not forget beans and pulses:
Baked beans on toast
Lentil soup
Refried beans
Chana daal
Greek giant beans

(Stands back and waits for fart gags)

Jacket potatoes with

tuna/sweetcorn/cheese

or bolognaise/cheese

Guacamole is a salad in a paste.

Don't care.

I like salad from the cart at Harvester. :)

I don't mind too much what salad there is, it's all good for you. When we go out restauranting EVERYBODY always leaves their leaves behind, and I just hoover them up 'cos they're good for you...

Ah, thank you Delia Smith! :)

I've tried couscous, I wasn't really keen. I don't even like rice that much.

Egg fried rice from the Chinky. Nowt else is acceptable.

Harvesters are the last refuge of the desperate, only suitable when you haven't eaten for three days and every other place is closed.

:D

I like salad from the cart at Harvester. :)

Girlfriend who lived in Staines used to take me out to the Harvester at Old Windsor. Apparently Elton John's mansion was only a few hundred yards away and she was convinced he would pop in one evening, the silly moo. Salad was surprisingly good though (Including the crispy bits like croutons and bacon bits) - for some reason doesn't seem to have a good name.

I like Harvesters especially the scratter friendly Sun tokens.

Half a chicken, a bowl of salad and a fresh roll.

I evens stuck that in a sketch.

Giant Israeli couscos with chick peas, olive oil, chillis and feta cheese.

Is the salad of champions.

I hate to break it to you Aaron, but that food has been prepared and handled by ... foreigners.

I will never get over the shock and disgust.
