WE TRACK OVER THE NON-SCORCHED REMAINS OF THE WORLD, MIXING SATELLITE-LEVEL IMAGES INTERCUT WITH LOW-LEVEL PICTURES OF DESOLATION.
V/O (MALE):
We cured everthing with science. We genuinely understood how the universe worked. But that stupid weekend, when we decided we wanted to try and be more than simpering monkeys, we f**ked everything up. In fact, we f**ked-up spectacularly. We invented the 'Weekend Universe'. Jake How?
He was my inspiration...
Yours and someone else's. Cough cough.
Aaaaanyhoo. Back to NaNoWriMo...
Ha ha!
623 words - plus a few notes - but not bad for the first hour or so. I'm exhausted now. Out to see Not Going Out tonight so not a lot more will get done today. But anyway - I'm pleased!
Well I finished the 50,000 word minimum which was the basis of a complete story.
At the end of the month I couldn't face it for a while and moved onto other projects.
I revisited it the other day because they were offering one free copy printed and bound but found several anomalies and contradictions so I stared work on it again. However the new one is upon us now so I have to concentrate on that for the next 30 days (I do have a life too though) but maybe I'll look at it again in December.
It's supposed to be brand new each time.
I suppose you could always continue the story though - part 2 for instance.
That would be mildly naughty.
But I'm sure loooads of people do it.
I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be all new.
They say you can work on that sort of thing in December, try something new and adventurous and fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants-y for November.
