I rememeber a mate of mine went to Malta, with his family, back in the early '90s. The only things I remember him telling me about the place, was that he'd visited the set of the old Popeye film, starring Robin Williams, which had apparently been filmed there 10 years earlier, and the fact that there was no sand on their beaches.

I went to the Popeye place in 92, and I'll be going there again this time round.

He also only writes comedy as in order to get him closer to dealers and wig-impressarios.
