Get out. Now. Go.

Okay, so maybe I've never actually watched an episode of Doctor Who. Martin Freeman not a good choice then? How about Morgan Freeman? Maybe I should stick to bad Doctors. Danny f**king Dyer anyone?

Chris Addison anyone?

No! He can't really act all that well; which I know in the old series might not have counted against him, but I think they like them to be able to these days.

Which Welsh bloke?

The guy who replaced Coyle in the third series of Coupling. Whose name escapes me. Think I would have remembered if it had been Tom Jones.

What about some who rode the Tardis, but briefly.

You're dead to me.

Shane McGowan.

That would be awesome.

Richard Mylan?

And: no.

I see no ones mentioned James Nesbit yet; his names always connected to the role, and has had form with The Moff on Jekyll.

Richard Coyle however could be perfect.

Eww. He was awful.

You're dead to me.

Oh yeah, well I'm already done grieving for you, you've been dead that long to me. I built you a tombstone and everything. Then I took some other guy named Matt to your grave and we had a nice picnic on it.

What about a female Dr?

Joana Lumley, Jo Brand maybe even Big Suze?

Of course Torchwood, K9 and company and The Sarah Jane Adventures are proof you don't even need a Dr.

(Awaits brick bats).

What about a female Dr?

Awful, awful idea; and never, ever, if anyone involved has any brains, going to happen.

A black man in The Tardis.. you never know, might have to change it to Dr. Whassup.

Keanu Reeves would make a smashing Doctor Whom.
