Brand, Ross and Sachs Page 14

There's fake blood and everything.

("Twunt" works much better than the other way. "Cat" doesn't have quite the same ring to it.)

I don't think suspending Brand will do his 'wildman' image much damage will it?

Will it affect Ross? I don't know. Probably not.

It'll all be forgotton in a few weeks. It's had a frankly absurd amount of attention. It won't harm Brand, because he's got a huge and varied career going on that has very little to do with the BBC; and as for Ross, if the BBC did stupidly get rid of him, which I'll be shocked if they do, he'll just go to another channel. Simple.

F**king hell. 27,000 complaints now! :|

Sooner or later something might teach Russell to be a bit more choosy with his shaggings. Or at least cut out the mentals.

Ha!

So in summary:

Brand and Ross were twats to have done it in the first place. Ross perhaps particularly, seeing as he has young daughters himself. But both of them should just know better.

Brand's producer should have stopped them as soon as the first call was made. That he - or she - allowed the pre-recording of the programme to continue shows a shocking lack of judgement, and the fact that the programme was supposedly signed off as ok for broadcast, suggests that the producer knew it was dodgy anyway. I would doubt that it is routine for programmes to be run past the uppers before broadcast. Consequently, both the producer and whoever signed the show off should be the ones losing their jobs.

Had the two done their jobs properly, the programme as-is would have never been aired, Ross and Brand could have apologised to Sachs (and his granddaughter) privately, and none of us would be any the wiser.

End.

(and she's a selfish over reacting publicity hungry twunt.)

(and Sachs deserved neither the phonecalls nor the granddaughter. *hugs for Sachs*)

27,000 idiots then. They need to get a life really. And do they take into account how many people didn't complain?? :D There's bloody millions of them all over the country!

And I bet the vast majority of those complaints were from people over the age of 55.

99% of them won't have listened to one second of the clip in question, and just read the (no doubt lies) in the Daily Mail article.

To be fair though, Brand did make it worse by 'singing' apologies. But it has been blown well and truly out of proportion..
Russell Brand has resigned now anyway!
>_< Wave

Karl Pilkington please.

They are absolutely loving it. Seriously you won't be able to open the Daily Mail tomorrow the editor would have made the pages stick together.

Somebody on the TV this morning said the only group of people who haven't voiced an opinion or got involved are the United Nations.

LOL so true.

Don't blame him; they obviously have in no way supported their talent, so why bother? Give them the finger and move on to undoubted success elsewhere.

:D It really makes you despair at people. People are just the worst.
