Can't believe they want them sacked, ok it perhaps wasn't the best thing to do, but can Andrew Sachs honestly say he's never called someone and joked about sleeping with a member of their family on their answerphone?
Brand, Ross and Sachs Page 4
On radio?
Brand should be sacked for being terminally unfunnny, boring and serially offensive.
Phoning that murder inquiry live was far worse.
Ross should be forced to work for his massive packet.
With Dr Scrote ideally.

Actually, it isn't. Unless you like to get your knickers in a twist over this sort of thing. People should apologise and that should be the end of it. No sacking. Just sorrys. Anyone who calls for more is quite frankly blowing the whole thing out of all proportion and should get a grip.
The lady in question's response was quite eloquent.
I don't care if they sack them, Brand is a fiberous turd who'll float up somewhere.
I don't even care if they insult Andrew Sachs, serves him right for taking the piss out of imigrants. And his GD is a bit of a tart who probably f**ked Brand.
Chris Morris did far worse.
I care that huge amounts of money are squandered on something so tawdry.
That the BBC fawns over these second raters and can't do basic editing.
But won't make jokes about Catholics, Muslims or any one else.

I'm not mad on either, but they're certainly not second raters; they are in fact extremely popular.
The editing I can agree with, it should have been caught and cut from going out.

Tell her to f**k off. Shes an idiot milking this for all its worth. This whole situation is getting beyond absurd.
I like how it calls her 'an aspiring model'. I think thats about as close as shes going to get. Unless you count getting your kit off in th Daily Star 'modelling'.

Next time I see her mate, next time I see her...

I've just rung my mother-in-law to tell her I sleep with her daughter, she told me to f**k off... which one of us should be sacked?
kjs
Ballie's loving the attention I bet.
An MP said on the TV last night "Who has a comedian got to insult before he gets the sack". My answer was gays, black people, white people, the disabled, Jews etc - not Manuel from Fawlty Towers, why sack them over that?

I imagine so; she is in a stage show called 'Satans Sluts' or something, apparently. Sounds classy.
I like Ross and can just about tolerate Brand, but neither has covered themselves in glory with this incident. At the end of the day it's two smug multi-millionaires ringing up an old man and making obscene comments about his granddaughter. Both need a good slap. More importantly, the producer on Brand's show should have had the foresight to stop the thing being broadcast in the first place.
As for the let's critiscise ballie camp of thought. By doing that you're just doing the same things defence counsel does in criminal cases when they adopt a "blame the victim" strategy. Balliee may well go on to milk this, and I don't blame her if she does. Good luck to the minxy bint.

From listening to it, Brand knew what Ross said was bad, they should have just left it there, but I like them both and don't think they should be sacked at all. To me the clip sounded like two teenagers, one (Ross) trying to make the other (Brand) laugh at any cost. It's what I used to do at school, say anything that you knew would make your pals laugh, even if it was un-necessary and offensive. My suspension only lasted a day.

Agreed. It's akin to saying it's someone's own fault she was raped, because she wore a short skirt.
