She looks a bit like that girl on Coronation Street.

(Just to clarify, re. my earlier comments, I'm not saying that just because she looks like a massive slut, it means she doesn't deserve common courtesy and maybe even an apology.)

I just think it's been blown all out of proportion.

They were Henley by-election candidates! It was totally relevant to the subject being discussed. Not in any way gratuitous.

Either way it made me smile.

Rosie!

Rosie!

Yes!

If you ask me it is Political Correctness gone mad. And the government getting involved as well as David Cameron. Surely the 'CREDIT CRUNCH' needs greater attention. Gordon Brown strikes me as the kind of person who doesn't really GET comedy

I should cocoa. In the days before P.C., you could ring up an old man and tell him his granddaughter was a whore and nobody batted an eyelid.

But now...

Having heard it, it just wasn't funny.

2 over payed over preaned dandies, ripping off the guy who asked 5 Star

"Why are you so f**king shit?"

And PC? Come on this was rudeness plain and simple.

And the CC is still making front pages.

Auntie pissing our licence fee on this rubbish is news and big news.

It really isn't.

Andrew Sachs is already up there in my list of comedy heroes but if he manages to get those two arseholes sacked from the BBC he might well make it into the Top Three.

If anyone gets sacked over it then, well, its a bit pathetic.

I'd like to hear what The Daily Mail have to say about it.

Over to you, Griff!

Over to you, Griff!

I think it said 'SACK THEM' on the front cover. At least some paper I saw in the shop did.

Big news!?

Have you heard any of the unspeakable shite that gets broadcast on radio 1 all the livelong day?

That's your licence paying money too!

As Russell might say 'not in my name!'.

Laughing out loud

"YOU SICK FREAKS!" would have been a good one.

It was just a little barb as I know you so well, Griff.

I know that you're an Independent man at heart. No, really. I remember you saying you read that nearly every day.

F**k off Russell Brand.

Basically my algorithm for choosing papers is:

1 - what can I scrounge off the carriage floor (usually Metro)
2 - what ones have got free gifts in (usually the Mail)
3 - is Boris or Nancy Banks-Smith writing in it that day (Telegraph or Guardian)
4 - is there some frivolous article in there about someone I like off the telly (usually Guardian)
5 - is Kelly Brook on the front (all of them except the Independent which usually has a picture of the devastated rainforest on the front and wonders why it is losing sales)

I don't know why, but that's made me feel all warm inside.
