Shit stuff you've bought

Last night I bought this from the shopping channel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PKG_YfWlCc&feature=related

Yes, I need my f**king head looking at. But in my defence I'd been hitting the voddie bottle pretty hard in an attempt to kill my flu germs. I think I just succeeded in giving them a great party because I feel worse than ever.

So - what's the shittest thing you've ever bought, sober or drunked?

I love those though...:$

Very impressive product, but still... Laughing out loud

How much was it?

3.99 plus 7.99 p+p. I bet it falls to bits after a few uses. I basically got it for Christmas Day - I'm cooking chrimbo dinner for 8 people and there's gonna be lamb and goose and god knows what other meats to slice and dice so I thought I'd give it a punt.

Ah, perhaps not toooo awful then. If, as you say, it doesn't fall apart of course.

I bought an autographed photo of this guy one night while I was drinking beer with a friend. He was a legend during my childhood in the 70s.

Ten or 15 dollars. I ordered it from his website and completely forgot about it until it arrived in the mail a few days later. I still laugh every time I see it.

Well that's not too bad... I would rather have his than his son's! Tad random though :D

I once bought David Bussell a drink.

Ha! I love those TV offers off shopping channels! They make me laugh. I even OWN stuff I've bought off the TV! In all fairness I have only ever been let down once by something I've bought off the TV.

Worse thing I bought was a pair of boots which when I got them home, I discovered the shop assistant had given me the wrong size. When I changed them, the heel broke within five minutes of wearing them. When I changed them again, I insisted on trying them in front on the assitants before taking them home and the zip got caught and the pull SNAPPED off. Even the assistant agreed they were crap. In the end I had enough and just got my money back.

Reminds me of story I heard yesterday of a guy who bought a watch in Dubai but the second hand didn't work. He tried winding the watching and now none of the hands work - he'd had it less than half an hour.

For an intelligent professional woman my fiancee is a complete sucker for two things; dogs and 'Made for TV' crap. She's been bugging me forever for this hand held dry cleaning steamer thing.

TV aerial signal boosters I have 3, none of them work.

I am the Fat Freddy of signal boosters.

I think your house counts if there is no corner shop in walking distance that would be absolutely horrid. I'll add: http://www.totally-funky.co.uk/pages/funky/productView.asp?ID=1829&SID=736
I paid £10 from eBay US thinking they didn't do them over here. :( It's a bloody ice cube tray!
