I hate people who think that a woman should cook and clean for his boyfriend even though she's already working 40 hours a week for 5.75 an hour, studying neuroscience and gets very stressed out when cooking
In my opinion. If a woman ( or a man ) wants to do all the home stuff even if they work, it fine, it's their choice AS long as it is realised by the other partner it is a privilge, not a role and should that partner decide that they want them to do more to help out, they get off their bums and do so without complaining.
Personally, If I was with a man who had to work long hours while I only worked part time or not at all, I would take on the majority of the household tasks. If it was the other way around though, I would expect him to do the same for me.
As part of my Open Uni coursework a long while back, I had to look at womens role in the home and they was a study that showed while today most couples do the same amount of time doing housework and work outside the home in total, still men were putting in more of those hours at work while the women put them in at home! Interesting....
