Gavin, that is brilliant. Can't wait to hear it with proper sound.

This could be the start of something beautiful.

I love the choice to mix 2D and 3D. I know you struggled with which way to go, but I think you've made the right choice here.

The Newmans themselves are a great base to build upon. And even though you have been working with them for many years, I think now we will finally see them grow into real characters because you have the advantage of an audience who can give you feedback at last.

The character designs are great, the direction was fantastic, especially the zoom out at the end. The script was the weakest part though. Nothing wrong with the setup, this makes for a great short or preview/trailer. But as a sketch itself, I thought it was short on actual jokes.

I don't think it matters though, because with this, you established characters and a setup. Great to hear you and Charley too, who do a great job, shame about the audio but like Bob the Builder, you can fix it.

Well done Gav, Jude, Charley and Chappers.

I take that back, partly. I just listened again and it is actually quite good better then I thought. Although you mumble the *beep* joke, making it hard to hear. But overall, I think it's quite good.

Thanks all :)

Lee I agree about the script whilst it worked really well on paper, once it moved it kinda lost alot in translation minly due to my limited animation skills but the next one on the cards is gonna be rocking :)

Beautiful animation Gav. What software did you use to animate it?

Flash, 3D Max and After effects :) I chroma keyed the car so could put the backdrops in later to save time.

^Updated! lol

You're good. Apart from the mumble of that line I mention, which I know was on purpose (maybe a close up of his face, so it's louder to us?). You and Charley do a great job.

Did you 'put on' the voices Gav, or adjust the audio?

Thats a good idea, about the close up.

All voices have no effects accept a little pitch shifting for the kids.

:)

Looks great, Gav. Well done to all. :)
