Do you think it's a good/not good idea to include

Just a thought!

Whilst scribbling today I found myself doodling in the margins (which I occasionally do) on this occasion I was writing some speech with a side line character named Nigel. The doodle ended up being how I visualised him.

As shown here. Only a doodle remember!

Anyhow, I then though would it or would it not be a good idea to include such doodle/sketches in the side margins of a script when sending out, (just the odd one here n' there) kinda give a hint of how I see things I guess.

What do you think?

:)

It would probably be a really bad idea. But then again who knows what people like, maybe it will work but I can imagine it is very unlikely.

Yeah, it's a bad idea; don't do it.

Nice doodle!

But no, any 'adornment' is frowned upon in the industry. The only pictures allowed are drawn with words.

Cool sketch.

But no.

You can do what you want on the title page of a script though. I've heard about some crazy art going on!

I wouldn't advise it.

Unless you're sending stuff into a comic book?

If it's on page thirty-three - and they've got that far - then I wouldn't have thought it would matter. Although generally it's a bad idea.

I'll take that as a no then.

It was just a thought, appreciate yours.

Thx.
