Friday Night with JR Page 3

Ha! I'm not a fan of the Eels song at all. Certainly not out of context.
But they were lovely in the interview.

Well I still like Jonathan Ross.
I do hope he'll be sticking to the cliche and having Ricky on again.

Johnathon Ross is a talentless, overpaid cocksucker.

Yeah we've done that bit of the thread already.

I love Eels, what song did they (Mighty Boosh) cover? *flicks over to BBC One* ooh, and The Streets. I might have to watch this on iPlayer or something.

noooo not Eels the band!

Ooooooh, the Mighty Boosh song.

Stupid brain.

I agree. They should have played 'We are the Mutant People' from series 1. That has an excellent keyboard riff in it, and would have probably worked better out of context. I can't believe they are playing the O2 arena. That place is friggin' huge!

I know people complain Ricky Gervais is on FNWJR too often (e.g. see Kevin Bishop's sketches), in fact Ross even mentioned he knows this, but Ricky's latest appearance made for a particularly funny interview none-the-less IMHO.

Did anyone else find watching the Sarah Silverman interview - particularly Ross' early Judaism-related questions awkward though?

He probably felt compelled to talk about Judaism because of the fact that half of her act is "hey look at me! I'm a jew!"

Loved Ricky, Ramsey and Ross himself untill...

Sarah Silverman... I gave her 5 minutes and then switched off. *yawn*

How boring was she!

Steve Coogan will be on the following show next week, along with Stevie Wonder. Should be a blinder.

No pun intended?
Laughing out loud

I loved Ricky and Sarah, but found Ramsey boring and watched something else.

Sarah Silverman

Blimey!

Blimey!

Is that "Blimey!" about the story, or the fact they're quoting Chortle?
;)
