Countdown - The contestants look like socially maladjusted freaks that have been locked in a cellar for 10 years with nothing but a dictionary. Everyday Des O'Connor tries to be a funny and entertaining host, but fails miserably. All you hear is a forced and awkward laugh from Carol Vorderman and some tumbleweed blowing by. Terrible programme. Doesn't need to be on everyday.
Question of Sport - Has had it's day. Incredibly bland and unentertaining.
Songs of Praise - No explanation needed.
Eastenders Omnibus - 4 x 30 minute episodes showed one after the other, every Sunday afternoon. I can't think of anything more f**king unnecessary. Especially nowadays that the episodes are repeated on BBC 3 and iPlayer.
Instead of 2 hours worth of repeats every Sunday, they should air a nice, non-offensive, fluffball film from the 80s. 'Uncle Buck' or 'Harry and the Hendersons' or something.
