That annoys me too but I tend to find it's the other way around. Speaking as someone who has worked in shops, it's usually a case of the shop staff have been told to always say certain things and get into a heap of trouble when they don't.

Snotty shop staff tend to be reserved to Topshop anyway.

And Burton.

"you'll never fit into anything in here" Look is very annoying.

Like you, I too have worked in a shop and have had my share of snotty customers. But I find that you get plenty of snotty shop staff too. Many seem to think the job is beneath them. I prefer to buy online where at least the assholes in the "shop" are distant.

I am not allowed in Topshop since that 'incident'.. ;)

Topshop really is evil. If I get anything from them, I do it online.

Ha! Nice avatar Rubes...

I once politely asked a co-worker
"If he could take a break from being a wanker, jsut for tonight,"

I got a standing ovation from my coleagues and the rest of the pub.

Laughing out loud *stand up and claps*
I don't think I've ever been more rude in my life than the time that was also the worst interview of my life.
I still can't believe how rude I was to that woman even if she was a huge bitch. Some dude who I don't think even knew her came over and yelled at me "that's no way to talk to a woman". About the only thing I remember saying the entire knight was :"listen asshole, chivalry is dead and if you're what remains of it I'm about to punch it in the face".
I still cringe at the memory of my complete asshole state that night.

LOL!!! Curt thats a brill story :D

And the creatives were actually quite nice people; I was just a little bit too into Bill Hicks at the time.

That's what happens when ideology gets in the way of making a living. ;)

Some kids, about thirteen years old or something, were being really rude to some staff in McDonalds a few years back. As I left they we're following me out, their ringleader had bought ice cream, so as I exited I slammed the door back behind me, so he ended up shoving the ice cream all over his face. Is it rude to be rude to someone who's just been rude? Anyway, I felt like a big man, looking at this fat little kid with ice cream all over his soft shocked face.

No its Karma.

I had a boss that wasn't far off that but she was a woman, soo, couldn't do anything about it... :(

That's not an acceptable excuse, wimpoid!
