Did they blow you away? Or were you just amazed that you were actually meeting them?

I was just amazed to meet them, especially Larry who looked like a wax work of himself. Ricky Gervais seemed like just the sort of bloke you could go for a pint and a laugh with.
You know when I was at the comedy store in LA people were saying that Ricky Gervais popped in from time to time but they never knew he did stand-up. They were like 'NO WAY...he does stand up, is he any good?'
I met Chris Rock very briefly and seen Samuel L Jackson and Jeff from Curb at the comedy store. I would have talked to the latter two but didn't have the opportunity, didn't want to become an annoying tit in trying to say hello when they are a distance away.
I also had a beer with Paulie from the Rocky Movies - Bert Young

What was the occassion?
I've met Lee Mack and Stephen K Amos. They were both really approachable guys and really nice and funny.
I don't think I'll ever meet my actual comedy heroes... but they will do.
I've met Stewart Lee a few times and he's certainly one of my biggest comedy heroes.
He's a nice man.

Who would they be, are they dead?

I'll be meeting Stewart Lee soon enough...

I got to meet RG after a live show in Feb 07, he signed a few bits for me. I met LD at his office while on holiday in California last October.

Did he start whinging about 'Love Thy Neighbour' and 'Mind Your Language' and how terribly racist they are? That's all Stephen K Amos seems to ever do.

No, not at all. He was really funny.

Is he the black man?
I've met a few people, but heroes? Hm. Ronnie Barker, Sid James, Eric Morecambe, Ernie Wise, Leonard Rossiter, Tony Hancock, Frankie Howerd, Benny Hill, I- Oh. Nevermind.
I've never seen him say that in my life!
