On a serious note I don't think age is the issue but the individual. You can marry the right person at 18 and you can marry the wrong person at 38 and vice versa. I agree that most people at 20 probably aren't mature or developed enough, but some are.
Unlike an Jane Austen novel life doesn't end when you get married. You can still do the same things as before - you just have someone else to do it with (and no I'm not talking about swinging).
