Nope they've only shot up to record highs with them in power.
There is never any reason to vote Conservative in Canada. Perhaps in the UK but never Canada. Every time the Conservatives have been in power in Canada our markets have been in their lowest and jobs become spars. They are basically the pro-US party.

Stephane Dion the leader is kind of cute. Like a cute old friendly uncle who means well. He caries around a pack sack and has a hard time speaking English.

If you don't listen to all the lefty spin and actually keep your attention on what is really being said, of course.
And this is, I am aware, a vast generalisation. I'm sure that there are as many nasty conservatives as there are nice socialists and whatnot.

But the word liberal just makes me think of lovely people who pick flowers in meadows and don't mind if gay people get married.
