Resident Evil 4

Bugger me! I love this game and just started playing it again and can't get enough and now I see zombies everywhere (or crazy villagers).

Anyone know of anything that comes close to that type of action, control system, 3rd persony and just plain cool? Don't follow games anymore so not quite "with it".

Also got me thinking, why haven't they made a game (they probably have) where you're just a bloke with a shotgun and loads of zombie fodder to shoot at but looks like the beautiful RE4? Like it's based on Night of the Living Dead setting... damn I'm rambling now... dum dee dee dum...

:)

They have its on the xbox you have to survive 24 hours by any means neccessary.

RE4 is good....and in celebration of its grateness and as a shameless plug behold!

Resi 5 out soon looks feckin amazing. Definitely one for my Chrimbo list, along with the latest Tomb Raider which also look delicious.

When did this become a game? You're more than welcome to come round and beat up my flat's "Resident Evil" in Room 4. He's currently soundly asleep in Yeovil, you don't have to plug him in (unless you want to). I will dispose of the body, but you have to take the head (I'm too squeamish.)

I would gladly go into a coma just so I could wake up when this game is out in the shops.

I don't have a PS3 :( But when RE5 comes out, I'll have a reason to get one.

I <3 shooting zombies with a shotgun (and rifle).

Apart from a brief flirtation with Morrowind, I haven't been interested in 'gaming' since I was 18.

So, no, I'm not looking forward to playing it.

You continue to disappoint me daily. Except for that bit about Morrowind - that game was awesome sauce.

I would happily go into a coma if I never had to hear about this boring series of games again...

I can't believe they're still churning them out, I haven't played one for years but it gets pretty samey IMO.

They changed their way in RE4. No longer is it the fixed camera thang, but a more action packed behind the shoulder, third person thangy.

The Remake of 1 on the cube was a phenomenol game, running zombies and zombies with bombs strapped to them so couldn't shoot very scarse ammo.

I have RE4 on the Wii but just not found the time to play it, I think that will be my task for the weekend.

I er, prefer the film.
