I've never tried them on a burger, I must say.

They do taste a bit like sand, don't they?

I don't know I don't eat sand.

I like it out of a jar!

Even though it makes everything go pink.

You've wasted your childhood with not eating stuff you're not allowed to eat as a grown-up...

Our mum always put sand in our sandwiches when we went to the beach. Mmm crunchy.

I tried to eat batteries, Lego, little toy cars, tapes etc. Just never sand...didn't seem hygenic.

Almost certainly then. Otherwise it just tastes like a slightly strange vinegar.

And obviously not sliced.

I bought the most amazing tomatos today. They have dark red, brown and green stripes. I'll make a tomato tarte tatin with them tomorrow. Yummy. :)
