That once happened to me! When you charge it, does the screen freeze?

Quote: Nil Putters @ October 11 2008, 4:07 PM BSTNo. I'm not up on iPod technology, does it use the same socket to dock & ouptut audio to iHome as it does for you headphones then? I was just suggesting the earphones may be faulty (or the jack that it plugs into).
Sorry! I feel bad now - I thought you were trying to wind me up!
No, it's got a normal headphone socket but a different one to dock to the charger or ihome.
And the screen's frozen! My sister's having a look at it now. She's quite wizzy.
Don't let her wizz on it.

Yes, it's just frozen on the time and the battery/charge image.

That is what happened to mine. It eventually sorted itself out when I left it on charge through my USB port with itunes left on for some reason.

S'ok
Try a different pair of headphones.
Go Sis!!
Someone voted me on something as "Most unlucky in love". It's true. Still sucks.
And I poured my drink all over me and the sofa.

Thanks Ruby!
Got mud pie for later though so it's getting better.
The general consensus on various message boards seems to be "let the iPod battery drain and then recharge it and it'll be ok."

Oh my god, you are a star - that actually worked! Lucy fixed it for me with that. Yay - it works again!
Thank you! I take the back.
Thank you everyone for your help!
But come on, it still sounds like it. UGH.
