I get the train once a week. For the last three weeks there's been a baby bird in the roof area above the station platform, cheaping and fluttering about. Today it's dead, just lying on a girder, it's limp head dangling down.

I used to work at Iceland (the frozen food place, not the country with shit banks) and we used to get pigeons in the building all the time. And sometimes they'd fly around the storeroom and land in the big red crates where the bags of people's shopping for delivery were kept. I don't tend to get ill much either. I don't think I've had a genuine sick day off work in about six years.
