Porridge was all right. Especially after Only Fools etc.
Only Fools... where to stop? Page 5
I think Porridge is fantastic.
Shows how versatile Barker is.
Open All Hours was enjoyable too though.
Still, I never understood how old David Jason was supposed to be. They treated him like he was young, but he looked about 40.
Lol.
Yeah Porridge is true quality.
I've just had some porridge...

Well, in my opinion he is. But anyway.

That's the whole point. He's in his late 20s/early 30s, but is treated like a small child. The differences in style between then, now, and the time which Arkwright dressed him merely add more to his age by appearance.
I understood that he was treated like a baby. Like Ronnie Corbett was in, erm... that other show. By his mum. Er... Somebody help me out?
But I still think he looked 40.
Sorry!.
Oh yeah!
Thanks.
Yawn...

Oh blimey, David... that was lame... even for you!
I prefered Only Fools when it first started with Leanord Pearce and nobody was watching it. Series 1 was great, Series 2 and 3 was when the show was at its prime, series 4 and 5 was excellent. From series 6 onwards it was still very good, but Del got alot more stupid. I didn't like it when they bought it back in 2001 and not a huge fan of "The Green Green Grass"

It was late ... I think!
Yesterday I watched the episode where Uncle Albert falls down the pub stairs to sue the brewery. In court Del tells the judge that Albert was a very active man before the "accident". He says something like: "He was very active did lots of marathons and things like that...they call him the Jimmy Savile of Peckham". You can't make that joke anymore...BBC will cut out this sequence next time they show this episode on the telly.
