Angry Geordies - Do They Exist?

I've never come across an angry Geordie.

Do they exist?

Perry?

I don't know any Geordies in real life.

I know a couple and they're pretty feisty!

Are Geordies real?

I've always thought of Geordies as being quite violent. But then I like to make sweeping generalisations about vast swathes of people. I'm from Carlisle, so it wasn't that far to get to Newcastle; I stayed over one night, and when I glanced out my window, there was a car rolling down the road. Which was on fire. Someone then threw a stick at it as it passed and did a little jig of joy.

Are Geordies real?

Only when you look directly at them.

Cheryl Tweedy did attack that cleaner in the toilets.

Are they real?

Geordies? Or mine in particular? Last time I looked, they were real.

EDIT - oh, you've changed it now.

Best story ever.

Well I'm not a real Geordie for a start, I'm originally from Middlesbrough and therefore a "Smoggie". But no, most Geordies are quite lovable creatures really. Fairly laid back I find. But dangerous if you cross them.

Unlike Londoners who are ALWAYS angry about something. And Scousers who are just plain f**king mental.

We Londoners are not angry, we just have responsibility for running the country and most of the free world.

Feckin' gobshite.

:D

Watch Sky Sports News on any given day, and you'll be sure to find every angry Geordie that ever existed standing outside St James' Park, chanting 'Keegan, Keegan!'

When I think back to my earliest memories of Geordies and Newcastle, I think of Auf Wiedersehen Pet, and that Brazilian striker Mirandinha, who used to play for Newcastle, in the '80s, oh, and The Jocks and The Geordies, in The Dandy.

Are Ant and Dec Geordie?
